Hi ….Warez here,
I am going to carry on. For now I plan to solo. Maybe it’s grief speaking, but I can’t see replacing Shravan. It wouldn’t be right. However I can see the possibility of guests or even guest hosts at some point. A solo gig is going to be harder so…….
1. It will likely be shorter.
2. It will be harder to be funny. I mean that’s true; it doesnt’t matter who you are.
3. It will be less ambitious, at least at first.
4. The format could change a bit.
So….cut me some slack OK? There are some good things that might come of Shravan’s hiatus. There are people who want to contribute. There may be some more “communitiness”. For example a guildie of mine named Jinn is working on video elements. Check his work out (see link in comments).
Please give me feedback here and put comments about this change here and not under Ep.12 comments.

“I’d also like to announce that I (Shravan) am quitting MapleStory for a while, and therefore, quitting ARR. I’ve begun that there are other things I’d like to do with my time (eg: take guitar lessons), and the spring semester is just about to start so I figured it was a good time to call it quits. But MapleStory’s like super-addictive, so I doubt that I’ll be gone for good. I’m hoping to come back sometime around June (when Summer break starts again). Until then, take care guys. ^_^”

Hey Warez. Glad to hear the real star of the show is becoming the lead 😉 No offense to shereven. Well anyway I thought I would share with you what I think is the weakest of the weak. I totally agree with your standing on Double Exp. and think we should take things another step. Get rid of the pets. Pets are the weakest beyond weak because they help people loot. Therefore people get twice the killing in, twice the items, and twice every noncash item in parties. Yet another example of people paying for an advantage in this game. Another thing to is people having to pay to do the Zhelm quest and getting the Zhelm. This should be free and nobody should be making profit off of these at all. They are a quest item, not a monopoly.

I don’t mean any disrespect to Shraven, but PLEASE at least get one episode guest hosts. The show got 10X better when you got on, because there were two people so there was discussion instead of just question and answer, and responseless rant. A good show needs two people, and can’t go solo.
Warez, Hey^^ I use to be part of your guild Hidden Street, but I left because I misunderstood the procedure for entering the guild. I read you just have to whisper the leader or Jr. master to get in. I didn’t realize you had to put in an application, and I felt it was unfair for those who had to go through the process to get in, so I decided to do it the right way and reapply.
Anyway, I have been a fan of the podcast right from the beginning, and I made sure to give a great comment on itunes^^.
Even though Shravan will be gone for a while, I have always enjoyed your parts of the program, and have no doubt you will do a fantastic job carrying on. The idea of guest hosts is also a great idea. I think perhaps different co hosts from different worlds is great way to experience Maple from different world point of views.
I know that all of us will support the show and you in whatever paths you will choose to do.

One more thing, I saw two very interesting clips on youtube that were done for ARR. I think it was just to test out how video might work out because it was just a few seconds long each, but from what I saw, it looked pretty awesome….something to definitely look forward to for a future video type podcast.^^
Shravan will be missed, but warez you can hold strong. Im counting on you!! Something to add is possibly talking about making good trades and what is hot in the free market or whatever something like that.

Well they never said the ARR is only restricted to Windia, did they? It’s just that it’d be easier for Warez to talk to people he knows on Windia to talking to complete strangers, I mean I’m not saying that just people he knows should guest host but that it’ll probably be less awkward. This is just my opinion though.

We could have a series of Guest Speakers for each world, alternating betwixt podcasts. These speakers could even continue when Shravan(sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) returns. I am completely willing to do this for Khani, no matter how low level I am…(only 33)

Quinn warez is 30 something years old and has a daughter do you think he has the time to do something like this while balancing a job, his family, his freinds, and his maple freinds and guildies? im only 13 and i have a hard enough time balancing maple and school so give him a break OK? I will tell you what bothers me. It is not that the show is gone or dead or whatever. All of you people just gone on and on …like that one guy with is endless “please” thing…..
It is the fact, that Shraven just abandoned it, even though he started it, without care for his listeners. When you start any kind of entertainment show, be it radio or TV, you are going to have a devoted fan following, such as all of us are. I can see that, especially after months of comments. We all feel abandoned, neglected and hurt. Especially, if everyone listened from the beginning shows, Shravan said it was all about us and his listeners. He asked us to give our ratings in itunes and Digg. He asked us to write in and phone in comments and emails, which WE DID.
I got the indication though, halfway through all the shows, they were getting sick of reading all our email, even though they originally ASKED us to send them lots of emails. I think, with the growing population of their fans, they just got swamped and overwhelmed by it all.
I know Warez has a family and such. My problem is he took up a task, a daunting one at that, then proceeded to make a date for the podast, then abandoned everyone without so much as a word. At least Shraven TOLD us he was leaving and not possible returning. Warez gave a promise to continue the podcast and then proceeded to give us a tentative podcast date, “sometime in March”….well, lets see…it’s now May 1st, and still nothing….not even an apology or a word. I am SURE he has had more then enough time to try out is new “4th job”.
Look, I know these people have families and school, and jobs, etc….thats not what I am talking about.
I am talking about professionalism. If you are going to start something in entertainment, gain LOADS of fans, such as ourselves, expext a loyal following as they wanted, you can’t just leave like Shraven did, then have a co host take over with promises he “thought” he could keep and then abandon the audiance without so much as a word. It is rude, cold and downright unprofessional.
Look people, just drop ARR. Don’t give people like them the satisfaction. Especially their number #1 commentator Jinn, because he is their friend. As if the public, they so longed to gain as followers to this show mean nothing.
Do yourselves, and your integrity some good….forget about ARR. For those of you who can’t GET A LIFE. Besides, the game is MUCH more exciting then this show will ever be.

As I stated before, and comments from people after my statement failed to understand, I DO understand that Warez and Shraven have families, lives and school. I know that there are other things in their lives then this show, but they should have thought of that before starting it or continuously making false statements about it’s continuation.
There are many other people out there who have families, school and children who work on radio or entertainment…what do they do? Now Shraven might host a show about a game he hasn’t played in months and expects US to fill him in so he can report to US what we already know and have been playing? That’s ludicrous. The whole point of the show was to share their experience in Maple Story and to help players with tips, hots pots and such. Now WE are going to supply the info? Forget it.
I know your not reading this Leva but, remember they are doing this with no pay still having other REAL jobs to do. The radio host do not host two radio stations and its not 2 people who work out the whole thing….. If i were Shraven I would have screwed up this whole thing…..

Well, I can honestly say… Leva wouldn’t understand the kind of lifestyle Warez or Shravan is going through anyways. Her lifestyle IS providing entertainment. I know that, I knew her. She was in our group of friends back before she left Windia on her character previously named “Adora1” (Before that name change she was also known as “AudreyRose3”). She said she was a musician who travelled around a lot, and as I recall she said she was in her twenties.
So a musician in her twenties travelling around and performing cannot critisize on the same level as a college student simply trying to pass his classes only taking a temporary leave, and a full grown adult with a family and job, because she knows not of their lifestyle since she herself hasn’t experienced it.
Don’t believe what I said about knowing her? Well thats ok too; she’s got a profile on hidden-street with that info and her earlier comment proved she was in the guild.

Not trying to be mean or anything, those are just the flat out facts. And since Shravan made a comment in the 13th podcast about it, I think he and Warez ought to know more about the nature as to why she said that.
Koroi i honestly agree with you, she shouldnt say that because even though she has a job in the entertainment business and she IMPLYED that ARR is meant to be entertaining,WHICH ITS NOT,(but we think it is anyway) it was meant to be an informative podcast, Warez and Shravan both have LIVES and are very busy, they probaly are depressed from Real life issues sometimes on recording day but find consolance(if that is a word) from helping out what seems to be thousands of people. They dont get paid for theyre work either unlike you Leva so its not like their doing it for a paycheck. So Leva you shouldnt judge a book by its cover especially when you probaly lead a lavish life and only have to play music for a living. Shravan has to go to college, visit his family, work, do daily chores, study, and enjoy himself with his freinds. While Warez has to support his family, work, help around the house, and do everything else during his day.
And you probaly have some people to help you as far as i care to know.
