Hey guys! ^_^ We’ve finally got episode 16 up and running. We say it’s short, but really it’s like 2.5 hours long. >_> I think we’re becoming numb to the length of these things. 
Anyhooses, we’ve got quite an episode for you about all sorts of various things. There’s even a bit in there about private servers for those of you who are interested. We also have a Newbie Tip, a HotSpot, a Party Center, AND a Quest Corner all wrapped up in this episode. Bag3l came through as well and provided us with a 2nd installment of the ARR Jukebox, which, from what I’ve heard so far, you guys have enjoyed. There’s also a great explanation of the backstory of Masteria.

So we still like the T-shirt idea and we REALLY want to make it work, but so far, we haven’t gotten many responses from you guys. T_T So hurry up and get your vote to us if you haven’t yet! So anyway, i’m gonna comment on LocalMS.
Local was a wreck. It deserved to go down because it was completely full blown and self proclaimed.
The source was stolen completely from Odin, which in turn, made them shut down not long after Odin itself.
I have the grounds to say this because i was a member there when Local was first released and was a member for 3 months.
Don’t go around glorifying LocalMS. It only gives a bad name to ALL private servers.
SO anyway, i was surprised to hear that ppl implemented PvP… that was interesting.
Also, Jin, your background story was AMAZING.

I think a few jukebox episodes should be devoted to the podcast’s stingers.
I also know a few places to get Maplestory music. One spot is called Dowase Music, at http://dowase.net/music/maple. It’s got all of the music, but it’s been having some server overload issues, so you can’t download individual songs. You can download all the songs at once, but the package currently omits music such as the Time Temple. Another spot that is very good is a thread in the Southperry forums (the url is http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1277). It has a very complete list of music from the game, including the most recent areas. However, it doesn’t have some of the more obscure tracks (fortunately, these can be found on Dowase). I hope this helps you Bag3l!
@Nerdy: about the stinger thing… they’ve already talked about which tune is from where so many times, I can name it off the top of my head. I think it would be a tad too obvious. D:

No they’re not, it took me awhile to figure out the stinger for news, then there’s my stinger… just save those for last resorts…
But yeah dowase is VERY good for music, every single bgm in the games is there, and no viruses, spyware, adware, etc. I’ve used it quite a few times.

Oh and i just finished extracting songs from my other 5 versions of MS…

So, I’m down at the shore and I’m getting surf lessons, and while taking to me surf instructor I accidentally manage to allow the phrase ‘fame me pl0x’ into my conversation. (OOPS.)
He simply responds with ‘n00b’.
He admits that he does play maple and, after raiding his ipod (he took mine by mistake) he has ep. 16 on his ipod! He won’t give me his IGN, though. D:

its not that gms v.56 did anything to p. servers, its just that the v.56 files do not support v.55 p. servers. the files p. servers need to run on is different from regular maple.
