Happy Halloween. We were in the twilight Zone for this episode. You can tell because we’re kind of spacey and rambly in the beginning, but we get more coherent as it goes on. Spazzcakes did really well at the transition editing, but struggled with volume equalization. (Many people have told me that they notice the volume issues, but that it is acceptable as is. Therefore we will concentrate efforts on the upcoming episode, instead of trying to improve this one!)
This is another long episode. After I said we’d try to make them shorter. -_- We cover Singapore, then there is a lot of listener contributed features. Two Newbie Tips, a HotSpot, a Quest Corner, a Party Center, Bag3l’s newest Jukebox (ty Bag3l), another HotSpot, another Quest Corner and finally a ton of vmails and emails.

guys, there is another maple podcast on itunes other than this one, mapleweekly, and maple-vids… i checked it out… it had 2 comments on it in itunes and it kinda sucks… all mature ppl could check it out and see how much it sux cause it has the explicit label on it so yea… i count ARR as the ”candy, pie, and cake podcast”… the other podcasts about maple r called ”rotting veggies and dead cockroaches podcasts” in my book… lol… umm yea im confused, too…

To change a pin, all ya need is the Email and the previous Pin. To change the Password, you need all of your security info. The only thing you CANT change is the User Name.

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!! Stop right there guys, giving his own referral link so he can get 20% of the points I guess IS considered spam… BUT! Holy carp Prize Rebel is definantly NOT a hacker site. I trust them. You fill out offers, the people from the offers pay Prize Rebel. They actually DO go out and BUY nx cards for you and send you a code. And for mesos, they actually DO merchant to make money for you. They have high level characters in each server (except for new ones), they make money and send it to you (through a mule). That’s why it takes a couple of days to get mesos to you. So before you say that every site that gives out prizes (cuz its not JUST mesos and nx they also offer xbox 360 games) is a hacker site, you might wanna check your facts… Cuz I have gotten mesos and nx from them… (Except don’t use his referral link, use mine) but i dont feel like telling you…

Besides, ya know how those merchanters get money? Scamming noobs outta scrolls. These arent the merchs that go around hunting for scrolls or look for good deals, they just outrite scam noobs. And it’s wrong. Those people you see in FM saying “B>Scrolls B>Gacha B>Brown Gloves” are horrible people. Most people at lvl 36 get a 60% glove att scroll. They try to sell it. These merchanters try to convince them that the item is worth nearly 1/2 the real value. They can at LEAST offer 75-80% of the real value. Then they hoard the scrolls and resell them at inflated cost….inflation THEY CAUSED. Im sorry, but even if that site DOES ‘legitly’ get mesos, they are probably more immoral than hackers. At least hackers dont take advantage of unknowing people.

I removed the Prize Rebel link that Ghost put up. Mainly cause it irks me that someone is “advertising” on this site without even talking to me or Shim. P.R. is mostly legit, the ppl that use it have to “work” to get what they get. Personally I don’t think its worth what you have to do to get it.
This is a seperate issue from how morally they operate. Morality would be real hard for Nexon to dictate, although they make some kind of effort when it comes to things like cursing (rightly) and samesex unions (wrongly). The problem is that there is not hard line seperating moral merchanting from immoral merchanting. Buying low and selling high is an accepted precept of capitalism. Hoarding to create a false shortage is illegal in RL; they’re called anti-monopoly laws. Buying in bulk to get a low price is fair. Playing on people’s ignorance is pretty low, but whose responsibility is it to educate nubs? It gets very complicated, very fast.
I know for a near certainty that many NX sites use hackers (more so in the past) and/or Chinese “farmers”/cyber-slaves as sources. Avoid them please. Personally I have found so many clean and legit ways to make mesos, that I have never even been tempted. With the MTS, you should not have the excuse that you can’t get NX any other way.

What im talkin about isnt buying low and selling high. it’s fine to go the FM and look for good deals. Lets say the 60% glove atts are worth about 4.25m around that time. If he is selling them for….3.75m, go ahead and take it, maybe offer a bit lower, 3.5m. You can still give him a fair price without scamming him. They know very well that that item is worth more. Again, I made no reference to their xbox products or w/e O.o I was talking solely about mesos…I looked up prizerebel, and found a few things bad about them btw. Mostly just decent average things, but there were a few complaints and phishing reports filed against them.

While i THOUGHT i was transfering all my stuff…i was actually still in an NPC store…selling it all. I NPCed an 11 att BWG, a Dep Star, 3 Onyx apples, and 3 60% bow atts. I feel……..so…….stupid rite now.
